Bulgaria's Dimitrov Ousted by Monfils in Miami Open

Bulgaria's highest-ranking male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov dropped out of the Miami Open tennis tournament after being defeated by Gael Monfils (France) on Tuesday.

The game ended 6:7 (5), 6:3, 6:3, the third time in a row that Monfils wins over Dimitrov.

Tuesday's loss comes after a surprising success of the Bulgarian player against world's No 2 Andi Murray a day earlier.

For Monfils, currently No 16 in the ATP rankings, this is the first time to reach the Miami Open quarterfinals.
