Bulgaria’s weather service has issued a Code Yellow alert for five of the country’s southern and southeastern regions, warning of potentially dangerous rainfall in on Thursday.
Precipitation of 15 to 25 liters over 24 hours has been forecast for the regions of Smolyan, Kardzhali, Haskovo, Yambol and Burgas.
