Bulgarian GDP in Last Quarter of 2015 Increased by 3.1 % Y/Y

According to flash estimates of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) released on Friday, the Bulgarian GDP in the last quarter of 2015 increased by 3.1 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

The Bulgarian GDP in the last quarter of 2015 exceeded BGN 23.9 B, registering a growth of 0.8 % compared to the previous quarter of last year.

The Gross Value Added (GVA) in the last quarter of 2015 exceeded BGN 20.7 B, which represented an increase of 0.5 % compared to the previous quarter of 2015 and a growth of 1.3 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

The final consumption in the last quarter of 2015 increased by 0.7 % compared to the previous quarter of 2015 and 2.5 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

The balance of trade in the last quarter of 2015 was negative, with exports and imports of goods and services increasing by respectively 0.7 % and 1.7 %.
