A fourth person has been charged with terror offences in Belgium in connection with the November 13 deadly attacks in Paris, SkyNews reported on Monday, citing police sources.

SkyNews also quoted Belgium’s federal prosecuting authorities as saying the suspect was charged with "participation in the activities of a terrorist group and a terrorist attack." His identity was not disclosed.

Fifteen people who were arrested in Brussels at the same time in raids on Sunday night have been released.

Fugitive suspect Salah Abdeslam, sought after over the terrorist attacks in Paris, in which 130 people were killed, was not among those detained in Sunday night’s raids, according to Belgian media reports.

The highest of four terror alert levels suggesting an imminent threat of a Paris-style attack has remained in force in Brussels for a third straight day on Monday. The rest of Belgium remained on a ‘level three’ alert, meaning an attack is “possible and likely”.
