Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev cancelled his working visit to France due to the attacks, which claimed the lives of at least 128 people and left more than 180 others injured in Paris on Friday night.

Plevneliev was scheduled to visit France on Monday on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the UNESCO constitution, which was signed on 16 November 1945.

Most of the heads of state, who had to participate in the celebration, have also cancelled their visits, daily Dnevnik informs.

The meeting is under question as French President Francois Hollande declared three days of national mourning in the country.

Earlier on Saturday, Plevneliev condemned the attacks as constituting “inhumane and barbaric acts” and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

Later on Saturday, the Bulgarian Head of State will lay flowers and express his condolences in front of the French embassy in Sofia.
