Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova said that there is a drop in the migratory pressure exerted on the country.

Bachvarova stated this in parliament on Wednesday, private bTV station quotes her as saying.

The deputy prime minister identified that the main task at present was to limit and neutralise the illegal trafficking of people and to register every one passing through the country's borders.

According to her, the process was organised well and the interior ministry will next focus on limiting the distribution of illegal immigrants throughout the country.

The accommodation centers were overcrowded by people requesting refugee status, while there were empty spaces in the centers operated by the State Agency for Refugees (DAB).

Bachvarova explained that reorganisation is forthcoming so that people could be redirected to the centers with available spaces.

In her words, Bulgaria had readiness to deal with tougher situations.

She noted that the construction of the fence at the border with Turkey continues, but is taking place at slower pace than expected.
