Two mines have fallen on the territory of the Russian embassy compound in Damascus on Tuesday, TASS reported.

No one was injured in the shelling that took place in the morning hours, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

One of the projectiles hit a sports ground, the other one fell on the roof of a residential building.
