Turkey has ordered a temporary ban on showing images of Saturday’s bomb blasts in Ankara and the aftermath of the attack for security reasons, Anadolu Agency has reported.

“Such bans are usually imposed to prevent the spread of what the government refers to as terrorist propaganda,” the Turkish news agency explained.

The ban doesn’t cover broadcasts of statements and comments about the twin blasts that have left at least 95 dead and nearly 250 injured. It was imposed by the Supreme Board of Radio and Television upon decision of the prime minister’s office.
