Right-wing Reformist Bloc (RB) has vowed to undertake staff reshuffles after an interview its co-chairman gave for Austrian press agency APA was sent out to Bulgarian media using only Google Translate without any editing.

Radan Kanev, who heads Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (one of the leader parties in RB, the junior partner in Bulgaria's coalition government), has asked the public to show some "sense of humor" after the blunder, adding there is a "very small step" in politics between the attempt at being serious and the result of being laughed at.

The "translated" version was followed by an excused from RB staff members who said their office did not yet have "a professional translation" of the text.

Social media users in Bulgaria found the text (which was published by some websites) amusing, with Kanev being called the co-leader of a "bourgeois" party and being quoted as saying Europe cannot be "a club for wealthy the silence."
