Bulgaria Defeats Cuba in Volleyball World League Match

The Bulgarian men's volleyball team secured a victory over Cuba in a Saturday match played Saturday in the Kongresna arena in Varna, Bulgaria.

Cuba had the lead in the first minutes of the game, but the Bulgarians caught up quickly and defeated 3:0 (25:23, 25:16, 26:24).

That gave three points to Bulgaria which now has 15 points and is ranked second in its Pool C, lagging 7 points behind Canada.

Third is Argentina (16 points, but a victory less than Bulgaria), and Cuba comes last with 7 points.

Bulgaria and Cuba are due to face each other again on Sunday evening.
