Woman to Appear on New USD 10 Bill

US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew has said a woman will be featured on a redesigned USD 10 bill.
Lew will make a decision about the selected honoree by the end of year, according to reports of the CNN.
The redesigned USD 10 bill is to be released in 2020, the 100th anniversary of the Constitution's 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
The last woman on US paper currency was Martha Washington, who was on the USD 1 Silver Certificate between 1891 and 1896.
The woman who will be featured on the new USD 10 bill will replace Alexander Hamilton, one of the United States' Founding Fathers and the first secretary of the US Treasury, who has headlined the USD 10 note since 1929.
