The back yard of the museum complex Square 500 has been painted early Wednesday morning.

The graffiti painted at the gate were created by the artistic NGO destructive Creation. They chose to write ''Bulgarian LOVER'' because of the intentional word play with the street name of the new museum - the Bulgarian Louvre.

The writing was removed by museum employees in the early afternoon.

Meanwhile, the museum complex had been known to the wide audience as the Bulgarian Louvre ever since 2009 when the project was officially announced.

Square 500 will be opened for free visits on June 20 (Saturday) between 10 am and 6 pm. The team coordinating the museum activities boasted huge interest and noted that people who have seen the expositions are already close to 20,000.
