Bulgarian Truck Driver Found Dead in France

A Bulgarian driver has been found dead behind the wheel of his truck on the A7 motorway in the department of Isere in southeastern France, AFP reported on Wednesday.

"The autopsy took place this morning and revealed blows that hadn’t been detected during the initial examination,” AFP quoted a French prosecution official as saying. “Obviously, he had been beaten."

The victim, born in 1975, was discovered around 9.30 p.m on Monday by other truck drivers of the Spanish company he worked for after they got worried they hadn’t heard from him for several days.

The man is believed to have died several days before he was found in the cabin of his truck parked in the area of ??Grande Borne. He had to deliver the cargo in Hamburg, in Germany.
