The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Bulgarians planning to visit Macedonia to travel with caution and to avoid places where protests and demonstrations are staged.

In line with the forthcoming mass gatherings in the next days, the ministry recommends to citizens to plan their route in advance and to travel with caution.

Bulgarians are advised to avoid places of mass events and gatherings of people as well as areas under police surveillance.

Citizens have to follow police instructions, especially in areas with restricted access, such as the town of Kumanovo.

Citizens going to Kumanovo are advised to use the transit road bypassing the town, the ministry informs.

Prior to departure and during their travel, citizens are advised to follow the latest developments in the country through the media or to consult the Bulgarian diplomatic missions in Macedonia.
