Pedestrian Injured as Concrete Chunk Fell Over Him

A man has been injured in Sofia after a part of a baseboard of an underpass fell over him.

The incident occurred around 11.20 am Wednesday close to the Embassy of the Republic of Romania, located on ''M. Eminescu'' Boulevard in Sofia.

A portion of the concrete construction has ripped off as a tram was passing along the boulevard. There is no information on more people injured. It still remains unclear what the condition of the injured person is, but he has been taken to University Hospital Tsaritsa Yoanna.
