3.6-Magnitude Earthquake Registered near Bulgaria’s Samokov

An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered early on Tuesday on Bulgarian territory, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The earthquake struck at 4:05 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the EMSC, as cited by the BGNES news agency.

The epicenter was located 5km southeast of the town of Samokov and 50km southeast of Sofia.

The earthquake had a depth of 400km.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or material damage.
