Sofia Airport, Varna Airport Voted among Top 10 Airports in Eastern Europe

Sofia Airport and Varna Airport have made it into the top 10 of Best Airports in Eastern Europe in a ranking of Skytrax for 2015.

Bulgaria is the only country in the region to have two airports in the top 10 for Eastern Europe.

Sofia Airport ranks 7th and Varna Airport ranks 10th.

The ranking for Eastern Europe is headed byBudapest’s Liszt Ferenc Airport, followed by the airports in Tallinn, Kiev, Riga, Belgrade, and Tbilisi.

Sofia Airport ranks 7th and is followed by the airports in Bratislava and Skopje, with Varna Airport on 10th place.

Singapore’s Changi Airport is the world’s best airport for a third year in a row.

The 2015 World Airport Awards of British aviation quality assessment and consultancy company Skytrax are based on 13.02 million questionnaires completed by 112 nationalities of travelers during the survey period from May 2014 to January 2015.

550 airports worldwide participated in the 2015 edition of the independent passenger satisfaction survey.

The passengers voted in 39 categories.
