The American Dream of 33-year old Viktoria Koleva came true at this year's Super Bowl.
The Bulgarian was in Katy Perry's team and was responsible for the fittings of her stage costumes, as reported by OFF News.
Perry domintated the stage during the Halftime show this year with guest performances of Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz. Close to 118.5 million Americans watched the 13-minute show in Phoenix, Arizona.
Koleva was born in Bulgaria's Ruse and moved to the US thirteen years ago and only recently released her own sports outfit line - VFit. She described her clothes as very sexy and fashion forward with a twist.
She said that her biggest dream has now come true after working with international superstar Katy Perry.
''I was flattered and surprised when her assistant called me,'' Koleva added. ''They needed a person based in Phoenix. I was truly flattered that they chose me of all talented designers here, they chose me.''
The performance, however, did not go without wardrobe malfunctions. Perry's gloves ripped apart minutes a number of times, her opening costume did not fit her at all, and several last-minute changes kept her whole team under pressure.
''I had to spend several sleepless nights before the show just to make sure that all her costumes would fit perfectly,'' she said. ''I had to design the gloves to match the fiery dress myself, as they had to be easily removed in literally two seconds.''
She also said that Katy Perry in her view is very down-to-earth and has been very reassuring to her whole team.
Koleva shared that minutes before the show started Katy Perry gathered her whole team for a prayer, saying that they hope to bring love and happiness to the world through the performance.
After the Super Bowl success, Koleva continues working on her sports collection. Katy Perry is also be wearing pices from the new line.
