Frosty Northern Winds Settle in Bulgaria

The weather in Bulgaria will remain partially cloudy on Wednesday, more sun is expected as the day progresses. Winds from the North will continue bringing frost and low temperatures across the entire country, as reported by the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology.

Temperatures will remain negative in most places, with minimums of -9° C and -4° C, and maximums of 2°C and 3 °C, however due to the strong frosty winds, the cold weather will be perceived as much harsher. The maximum expected values in Sofia will be close to -1°C.

Temperatures at mountain peaks will also remain negative, with maximum temperatures between -7° C and -13°C, accompanied by northeast winds.

Snowfalls are expected during the day along Bulgaria's coastline.
