Gold Medal for Bulgaria's Ivet Lalova in France

Ivet Lalova's golden start of the athletics season was on Saturday at the Mondeville Tournament in France.

The often called '' world's fastest white woman'' ran the 60-meter distance for 7.26 seconds, securing her win santimeters away from Jessica Young (USA), who came in second with the same time. Yongli Wei (China) took the third spot.

Another bulgarian athlete, Denis Dimitrov scored fourth best at the 60-meter mens sprint with 6.69 seconds. This was his all time best performance, improving from 6.71 seconds from 2013.
