Bulgaria’s PM Appoints Feyzi Bekir Deputy Finance Minister

Feyzi Bekir has been appointed Deputy Finance Minister by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov at the proposal of Minister Vladislav Goranov.

Bekir is currently Deputy District Governor of Kardzhali.

His past work experience includes Director of a Kardzhali-based office of insurance company Euroins AD.

He also completed two terms in office as member of the local Municipal Council nominated by center-right party GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria).

He completed a B.A. at the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics.

He also holds a M.A. in EU Funds and Programs from the Agricultural University in Plovdiv, according to the press office of the Bulgarian government.
