Brussels will be fully blocked Thursday due to a nationwide strike against plans of the new government to increase the retirement age and tax rates and to give up on certain investments.

For at least six hours, there will be no public transport in the city, and it will be very difficult to use a car, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio.

Only the movement of trains is expected to remain unaffected by the strike.
