Some 8 thousand young people up to 29 years will be employed by Bulgarian businesses with money from the state by the end of the year under the youth employment program.

The funds will be reimbursed by Brussels later, Bulgarian National Radio informs. Businesses have applied for the employment of 22 000 young people, however due to the current budget limitations, expenses have been cut down, caretaker Minister of Labor and Social Policy Yordan Hristoskov explained after the government adopted and sent for approval in Brussels the new OP Human Resources Development.

Now the goal of the caretaker government is to keep unemployment levels in check at the end of the tourist season, BNR notes.
