Gazprom is planning to pump less gas then usual into Slovakia on Monday, the country's gas supplier Eustream has said.

Projected deliveries are 49.6 million cubic meters for that day, which is 17% short of the usual volume or 21% than the maximum amount for September, Russian agency Interfax has reported.

Last week Bratislava announced the Russian energy concern had lowered supplies to the country, with Polish gas company PGNiG having also noted a decrease for some days.

Poland was forced to cut reverse supplies to Ukraine as a result.

Slovakia, for its part, has vowed not to renounce deliveries to Ukraine if the trend is only maintained for a few days.
