Rosen Plevneliev to Attend NATO Summit in Wales

Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev will attend the NATO summit, which will take place in Wales, September 4-5, said the President's press office. 

The summit participants will discuss the situation in Ukraine and the measures to be taken in this regard, the development of collective defence abilities, increase of defence budgets of the NATO member states, the NATO involvement in Afghanistan.

Plevneliev will be accompanied by caretaker Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov and caretaker Defence Minister Velizar Shalamanov.
