Polling agency Sova Harris has announced that Bulgaria's next Parliament is likely to consist of 5 parties.

According to a survey of Sova Harris, if the early elections were held today, the 4% threshold needed to enter Parliament would be passed by center-right party GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria), the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), liberal party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), a coalition led by the Bulgaria without Censorship party of Nikolay Barekov, and right-wing formation The Reformist Bloc.

According to the survey, GERB would win 43% of the vote, followed by BSP with 31%, DPS with 11%, Bulgaria without Censorship with 7% and The Reformist Bloc with 7%.

30% of those polled intend to take advantage of the preferential voting option.

Slightly over 50% of those polled say that they will vote, meaning that political formations will need 130 000 – 140 000 votes to overcome the 4% threshold to enter Parliament.

The survey was conducted at the request of the BGNES news agency through face-to-face interviews of 1000 people in the period August 25-30, 2014.
