The head of Bulgaria's energy watchdog DKEVR, Boyan Boev, and one of his deputies, Lilia Mladenova, resign, said the Energy Ministry.
Earlier on Thursday DKEVR said they saw no reason for resignations, but after a meeting with caretaker Energy Minister Vasil Shtonov, the two decided to resign.
The other deputy who was called upon to resign, Elenko Bozhkov, still hasn't announced his intentions.
According to the Energy Ministry, Bozhkov could be in conflict of interest and must resign as well.
