Bulgarians who work and can determine their working hours are around 24 000 and make up around 1% of the labour force, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) reported.

People who have a fixed start and end of the working day are around 2.4 Million. People with flexible working time with a certain number of days per week, month or another period of time are close to 50 000.

Without a fixed start and end of the working day, but with a predefined number of working hours are around 95 Thousand Bulgarians.

From the "Statistics of Labour" department point out that these results are acquired using a sample of employed Bulgarians who take care of kids or elderly people and the last available data is from 2010.

According to the national statistics no data is gathered about people practicing the so called "mobile business" - they organize their work from home instead of from the office and get paid. At the same time, the "work of the future", as more and more analyzers call the "mobile business", is getting more and more popular on a global scale.
