The Russian tourists would prefer to go on vacation in Sochi and Crimea, rather than in the Bulgarian sea resorts, shows an analysis of the Green Life real estate company.

“The stability of the tourist flow for this summer is uncertain,” said Iliyan Marinov, marketing manager of the company, which operates on the Russian real estate market. “The expectations of a very strong summer season will probably not be met.”

According to Marinov, after the Olympic games, the Russians have the ambition to fill up the resort to its full capacity. Besides, it is actively promoted and a considerable part of the Russian administration will send its employees on vacation in Sochi.

Another attractive vacation destination for the Russians would be the recently annexed Crimea.

According to Marinov, some new markets, such as Hungary and the Baltic states are showing interest to vacations in closed resort complexes in Bulgaria, but the majority of visitors are still Bulgarians and Russians.
