Penev Names Bulgaria Squad for Canada Friendly

Bulgaria's national football team coach Lyuboslav Penev announced the group of 23 players who will be called up for the upcoming friendly match against Canada.

The match will be played in Austria on May 23. Unsurprisingly, the club with most representatives in the national squad is Ludogorets Razgrad, which recently claimed its third consecutive Bulgarian League title. Once again, Penev relies on many young players based in the domestic league.

The list of players includes:
