Just 43% of Bulgarians Feel Valued at Work

Some 79% of top managers in Bulgaria are satisfied with the benefits their employer provides such as insurance, company car, and food vouchers, compared to just 46% of employees.

According to the Aon Hewitt Best Employers study, Bulgarian employers do not take into account the needs of their workers when considering benefits.

A total of 68% of top managers believe that the company provides good career opportunities to employees, while only 39% of employees agree. Nearly 70 % of senior executives claim that their subordinates are given due recognition for their work, however some 43% of employees feel appreciated, Bulgarian Dnevnik reports.

Some 72% of CEOs think that the company provides the necessary environment for career growth, while only 52% of employees agree.

The study covers the opinion of more than 16,000 employees and more than 400 top managers in Bulgaria. The average level of involvement of top management in Bulgaria is 77%, and 53% for employees. Each group has rated the working conditions and working environment by 19 specific criteria.
