"President Plevneliev is like the tower of Pisa, he is leaning towards the GERB party,", according to Sergey Stanishev, leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).

Stanishev's comments regarded the presidential decree on the composition of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), which he said furthered the interests of center-right party GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria).
