Bulgaria’s Zhekova Finishes Snowboard Season 3rd

Bulgaria’s Alexandra Zhekova finished 3rd in the final standings of the snowboard cross World Cup.

Zhekova finished 5th during Saturday’s final race at La Molina, Spain. However, “Sani” was able to move ahead of Russia’s injured Eva Samkova in the final standings.

The Bulgarian finished with a total of 2,850 points, 400 ahead of 4th place Yuka Fujimori. The world champion, with an impressive 5,400 points is Canada’s Dominique Maltais.
