Men’s Ice Hockey Quarterfinals Start in Sochi

The quarterfinals of the men's ice hockey competition at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games have gotten under way on Wednesday.
In the first match of the day, Sweden is playing Slovenia.
Hosts Russia will play Finland in the second match (14:30 EET), which is seen as the highlight fixture of this round.
At 19:00 EET, reigning Olympic champions Canada take on Latvia. At the same time, the United States will play the Czech Republic. The winners of these matches will meet in the semifinals.
