The unions of road shipping companies from Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia are planning to found a Balkan Transport Forum.

Friday representatives of the national road freight associations from the three neighboring countries held a meeting in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.

Delegations were led by the three associations' presidents - Koycho Rusev (Bulgaria), Zlatko Kocovski (Macedonia) and Dusan Mladenovic (Serbia).

Documents for the Forum's incorporation are currently being develped, informed Rusev.

The seat of the Balkan Transport Forum is planned to be in Bulgarian capital Sofia, with final decisions to be taken at a future general assembly of the three organizations.
