The relief of license regime, the timely VAT returns and the business payments were forgotten in recent years, according to Bulgaria's socialist leader Sergei Stanishev.
Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and Party of European Socialists (PES) leader met with business in Bulgarian town of Stara Zagora, Friday, the party's press office informed.
According to Stanishev, the energy sector is of great importance for the region.
"Bulgarian energy sector has been completely destabilized. It is going through a serious crisis, but it remains vital for the economy," Stanishev said.
He argued that power price cuts have had a positive impact on business.
"The power price cuts cost the government a great deal of effort. We have discussed a number of actions that are part of a new attitude toward the economic and business drawbacks," socialist leader noted.
"We are looking for options regarding Chimco AD and Remotex-Radnevo EAD future operation. Remotex is extremely important for Bulgarian energy sector. Talks with its owner have been difficult but we have a will to come up with a solution."
According to the socialist leader, talks with Deputy PM Daniela Bobeva regarding the long-term reindustrialization program of Bulgaria have been successful while energy remains a priority subject.
