Protesters in support of the Socialist-endorsed government have been bused from the town of Krivodol to the capital Sofia.
They arrived in two buses Wednesday at 9:30 am in front of the entrance of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, which is in the vicinity of building of the Parliament.
bTV aired a report, showing that the activists who came to support the government were mainly of Roma origin. They scattered quickly in attempt to avoid the approaching journalists. However, the reporters managed to talk to one man who had heard about the protest from his friends.
He said he expected to be rewarded later.
Meanwhile, anti-government protests, though low in numbers, resumed Thursday along with the work of the Parliament at its first session after a month-long-break.
Huge police presence was reported in downtown Sofia as lawmakers were arriving for work.
