"Invest wisely," is the message of Bulgarian Prime Minister, Plamen Oresharski, to the business sector for the new 2014.

"Investments should be made with careful consideration of the extent of recovery of domestic and foreign markets," says the Prime Minister in an interview for "Standard" daily.

He is firm the government is beginning the year "on the clean" as for the first time since 2008 all owed Value Added Tax (VAT) has been returned to the private companies, all while the centralized administrative pressure on the business sector has been stopped.

"The government is applying efforts to increase opportunities for export to third countries by opening trade offices outside Europe," explains Oresharski.

"I expect the opposition parties to continue their aggressive campaign against the government, but I do not think the majority of Bulgarians support the manipulated destructive processes and street forms of opposition," is how the PM outlines his expectations for next year.

"The confrontation of the past four years is now yielding negative results - our society is fragmented and disintegrated to a dangerous level. Hopefully, next year we will feel the first effects of the changed economic and social policies and will initiate a process of normalization," says Oresharski.

The government will also focus its efforts on encouraging parenthood because of the worsening demographic structure. To have voters in the future," the Prime Minister points out.
