Bulgaria's Parliament Ups Security Agency Budget to BGN 112 M

In an ongoing sitting on the state budget in 2014, Bulgarian MPs have allocated a total of BGN 122 802 300 to the Ministry of Economy and Energy.
A total of BGN 35 939 800 have been earmarked for policies in the sphere of sustainable economic development and competitiveness, a total of BGN 11 225 100 will go to policies in the sphere of efficient external economic relations, a sum of BGN 4 034 000 will be used for the sustainable development of tourism and a total of BGN 61 938 500 will be spent on policies in the sphere of sustainable and competitive energy development, while BGN 9 664 900 will be spent on the budget program "Administration."
The Regional Development Ministry will have a budget of BGN 211 383 200 in 2014.
A total of BGN 3 725 000 will be spent on policies in the sphere of developing Bulgarian regions and reducing inter-regional differences, efficient use of public finance for improving the quality of the environment and job creation.
A total of BGN 200 340 900 will go to policies in the sphere of improving the connectedness of regions and a sum of BGN 200 340 900 will be spent on building and upgrading road and water supply and sewerage infrastructure.
A total of BGN 7 317 300 has been allocated for other budget programs.
A total of BGN 705 200 has been earmarked for the budget program for efficient governance of state property, state participation in companies and state enterprises and the development of public-private partnerships.
The budget program for civil registration and administrative services has been granted a total of BGN 1 928 500 and the budget program for efficient administration and coordination will use a total of BGN 4 683 600 in 2014.
The budget of the State Agency for National Security (DANS) for 2014 has been increased to BGN 112 247 000 from the level of BGN 85 443 000 in 2013.
The budgets of the National Security Service and the National Intelligence Service have also been increased to BGN 32 984 000 and BGN 17 474 000, respectively.
In 2014, Bulgaria's Agriculture Ministry will have a budget of BGN 209 381 500, the Transport Ministry will have a budget of 248 104 100, the Sports Ministry will have BGN 66 202 500 to spend and the Investment Planning Ministry will have resources of BGN 25 084 400.
State Budget 2014 was put to the second-reading vote in Bulgaria's Parliament on Thursday.
