Last year the highest ranking Bulgarian tennis player came out first in ATPWorldTour.com Hot Shot rankings.

Dimitrov, who occupies the 23th position in the professional tennis rankings, won the third place with one of his many attractive performances in 2013.

In a match at the quarter-finals of the Washington tournament, the 21-year-old Bulgarian talent won a great play against the German veteran Tommy Haas, which included 20 shots.

It all started with very deep backhands at the baseline, followed by an exchange of backhands, ending with an impressive play on the net.

The ATP's Hot Shot ranking was topped by the French Gael Monfils. In a match against Tommy Haas at the quarterfinals in Halle, Monfils lost a play, but managed to strike a great smash, after a jump over the ball.

Roger Federer comes second in the rankings with his performance during the match with Juan Martin del Potro at the group stage in the ATP finals.

The Argentinian is ranked fourth for his phenomenal lob between his legs with his back to the court during the match with Nikolay Davydenko in Cincinnati.

The top five is completed by David Ferrer, who won a point against Rafael Nadal after several outstanding defenses.
