Supporters of Nikolay Barekov, leader of the movement "Bulgaria without Censorship," will occupy the Ukrainian Embassy in Sofia in show of support for the Ukrainian people.

The occupation will start Monday at 6:30 pm, the party has announced.

"We propose that President Rosen Plevneliev vetoes the budget again, as he did in the summer, with the motive to cut the subsidies for the parties entirely. We want to see whether he is a bold politician, a reliable person and not some sort of populist such as the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB)," Barekov announced meanwhile at the opening of the "Bulgaria without Censorship" office in the central city of Veliko Tarnovo.

He demanded a firm position from all formations regarding the cuts of all party subsidies.

"This is populism gone wild to cut back 10% of the subsidies, provided that one of these parties has a BGN 29 M deposit in the bank. If we get elected, we will invest the BGN 29 M in social programs, unless the money has already been spent by GERB," the leader of "Bulgaria without Censorship" claimed.

According to Barekov, if the Bulgarian ex PM Boyko Borisov and the ex interior minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov spent the BGN 29 M, they will face prosecution.

"I urge the right-wing Reformist Bloc to either fall apart, or join us. A large part of the National Movement for Stability and Development (NDSV) is already with us, we will get almost the whole Union of Democratic Forces (UDF or SDS in Bulgarian) and Meglena Kuneva will stand alone with her Bulgaria for Citizens" movement", Barekov explained.

"Their supporters are now with us. Apart from Kuneva and former GERB Economy and Energy Minister, Traycho Traykov, everyone else is welcome to join us," he said.

Barekov added that he will also demand the building where the main office of SDS is currently located.

"We will check up the legal possibility to apply for the building on 134, Rakovski street in Sofia. I think that we are entitled to this building. I have been a member of the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union 'Nikola Petkov' (BZNS) since 1990, and a member of SDS since 1996. SDS cannot afford to maintain the building, while we can do that with the donations that we intend to collect from our members. We could also share the expenses," Barekov pointed out.

In September 2013, controversial TV host and journalist Nikolay Barekov officially quit TV7 and its sister channels, and announced an upcoming political career, suggesting his ambitions reach very high, including the positions of Bulgarian PM or President.
