Serbian Foreign Investment Agency Head Resigns

The director of the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency, Bozidar Laganin, has filed his resignation.

The news was reported by Serbian news agency Beta.

According to the information, Laganin has pointed out as a reason for his resignation a conflict with Economy Minister Sasa Raduilovic, which he said interferes with the agency's work

With an economy shrinking by 1.7% of GDP for 2012 amid long standing stagnation, Serbia has put strong hopes on attracting foreign investments.
