International inspectors of Syria's chemical weapons have almost concluded their examinations of the sites disclosed by Damascus.

The mission of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in cooperation with the United Nations, have visited 22 out of 23 sites disclosed by Al-Assad's regime, reports the CNN.

The latest site visited was in the war torn city of Aleppo. This was one of the two inaccessible areas due to safety reasons.

The operation for the destruction of Syria's chemical stockpile began in October, initiated by a UN Security Council Resolution.

The United States intelligence is, however, not certain that Syria is ready to fully comply with the international resolution, and believe the regime is trying to hide some of its weapons, adds the CNN.
