Sofia Hosts Trampoline World Championships 2013

The 29th FIG Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Championships opened in Sofia on Wednesday evening.

Nearly 300 gymnasts will compete in the championships with the qualifications starting on Thursday, and finals to be held from Friday to Sunday.

The men's trampoline team competition is likely to be a duel involving China, Russia and Japan, while Britain, Canada, Russia and Ukraine are strong contenders for the women's podium, the International Gymnastics Federation said in a press release on the eve of the event.
