Indian Summer Brings Temperature Records to Bulgaria

Five temperature records have been reported Monday by the meteorological stations of the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
On November 4, the warmest weather and the highest temperature records were reported in the northwestern city of Montana and the central city of Veliko Tarnovo, where the mercury climbed to 26.2 degrees C. Records with 24.9C were also registered in the northeastern city of Dobrich and the Danube town of Lom - 24.5C. It also was unusually warm in the northeastern city of Razgrad where 23.7C were reported.
It was warmer in Northern Bulgaria, where the maximum temperatures were between 22C and 25C.
Warm weather is forecasted again for Tuesday with temperatures above 20C across the country.
