Bulgaria's Dimitrov Loses to Federer in Basel Tournament

Top Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov lost to Swiss Roger Federer in the 1/4 final of the 2013 Basel tennis tournament.

Federer put on an adamant game, beating Dimitrov 6:3 in the first set, with the Bulgarian coming back for the second, which he however lost 7:6 (2).

This is Dimitrov's first match with Federer, a fixture which the Bulgarian said is a "dream" of his.

Last week, Dimitrov won his first ATP tournament, in Stockholm.

The 22-old is currently ranked 22nd in the ATP ranking, the highest position of his career this far.
