Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov retained his 28th position in the ATP world tennis ranking, released on Monday.

Despite losing in the first round of last week’s Shanghai Masters, the Bulgarian remains in the same position, with a total of 1375 points. This is only 6 points behind his highest ever ranking of 26th, currently occupied by Ernests Gulbis.

The only change in the top 5 is David Ferrer, who replaces Andy Murray in 3rd place. Murray has been absent from the last few tournaments due to injury.

Spain’s Rafael Nadal keeps his leadership, followed by Novak Djokovic, who won the Shanghai Masters on Sunday.
