Bulgarian Head Coach Names Foreign-Based Players for Crucial World Cup Qualifiers

Bulgaria's national football team head coach Lyuboslav Penev has named a list of 10 foreign-based players for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Armenia and the Czech Republic.

The provisional list includes:

Nikolay Mihailov (Verona, Italy)

Ivan Ivanov (FC Basel, Switzerland)

Pavel Vidanov (Zaglebie Lubin, Poland)

Petar Zanev (Amkar, Russia)

Georgi Milanov (CSKA Moscow, Russia)

Stanislav Manolev (PSV Eindhoven, Netherlands)

Aleksandar Tonev (Aston Villa, England)

Ivelin Popov (Kuban, Russia)

Spas Delev (Las Palmas, Spain)

Dimitar Rangelov (Luzern, Switzerland)

 

Bulgaria's last two group games are against Armenia in Yerevan on October 11 and against the Czech Republic in Sofia on October 15.
