Turkey Deploys More Forces on Syrian Border

Turkey has deployed new army forces along its border with Syria in the province of Kilis.

The measure is seen as precautionary after violent fighting erupted over the week near the Syrian city of Azaz across the border.

Turkish armored vehicles are in constant patrol of the border area, informs Dogu Haber Ajansi.

New missile launch units and anti-aircraft artillery units are also being deployed in the area.

Across the border, units of the Free Syrian Army and others believed to be close to Al Qaeda are engaged in fighting.
