Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry has issued yet another official warning for Bulgarian citizens, asking them to leave Syria immediately when such opportunity arises.

In a statement, the Ministry urges all fellow citizens to leave Syria ASAP over the worsening situation and conflict there. This is the final call and warning.

It reiterates the situation is extremely unstable and security threat for everyone in Syria is rapidly growing, stressing those who decide to remain there will bear full responsibility for their own safety.

The Ministry is advising everyone to postpone any trips to Syria until the situation normalizes.

Bulgarians are also advised to not travel to Lebanon unless absolutely necessary.

The Ministry calls upon Bulgarian citizens to register in the diplomatic mission in Beirut either via phone or an e-mail and to be fully prepared to leave the area immediately.

The preliminary registration is essential for the fast reaction of authorities and for speedily informing Bulgarians in Lebanon about any emergency situations and increased risks.
